Valentine Waturuocha is the Chief Technology Officer/Founder of TEMSConsu (www.temsconsu.com) - a company he started in Australia first as an IT Consultancy in 2014.

Valentine started his career over 25 years ago after completing an MSC degree in City University London, with a focused practical dissertation in Computer & Internet Security. Valentine also completed mini- business studies at Harvard University Boston in 2007 and is a member of the Harvard Business Review Group.

Valentine is also an elected member of the British Computer Society MBCS and awarded Chartered Information Technology Practitioner (CITP) in 2003 and 2006 respectively.

Whilst living in England, Valentine provided Consultancy Services to large enterprise organisations to include Centrica Plc, Aviva Insurance, UK Lottery (Camelot) & Lloyds Bank etc.

Valentine was formerly a Resident Vice President (RVP) Grade at Citibank International and was the lead for enhancing & managing a Global FX and Money Market Data Warehouse that was used in over 100 countries. In 2002, Valentine was interviewed as a prospective Chief Information Officer for MTN - a telecoms company.

TEMSConsu is an IT Company - specifically a Software Services & IT Project/Program Management Consultancy Company established in Australia in 2014, but also now develops digital products either sold as a SaaS subscription/Sign up offering or developed for clients.

Between 2015 & 2017, Valentine led TEMSConsu in developing and launching one of three globally commercially available Test Environment Management DevSecOps tools called Omnium Lite. Omnium Lite (www.temscorp.com – TEMS INC) essentially automates the process of managing, maintaining, and supporting all the software development & tests beds used in the testing and development cycle of any large- scale software or digital product.

TEMS Inc now owns Omnium Lite which was launched in Silicon Valley in 2016, and the product now has an Angel Investor/Equity partner also based in the same location.

Since 2012, TEMSConsu with Valentine also as the lead consultant has provided consultancy services (Senior Project Manager, Program Director Level for hire) to several Enterprise clients to include IAG Insurance, PwC – (reported to two Chief Information Officers), Coateshire, Infor Enterprise Software Company, Gold Coast City Council, Services Australia (Federal Government), Suncorp Bank etc.

Since 2020, TEMSConsu has also developed & delivered digital products to include Omnium Lite - (www.temscorp.com), Certifired – (https://www.certifired.com.au/), Pymdesk - www.pmpplanner.com (a very unique project management software developed for one of the largest oil & gas entities globally), and Excelitte - www.excelitte.com (a cybersecurity product guaranteed to protect your data from any form of ransomware attacks).

Altogether, Valentine has either led or been involved at a decision-making level in successfully delivering a combined value of over $350 million worth of project value to various organisations.

Valentine was interviewed as a prospective CIO for MTN telecoms company in 2003, the role was eventually put on hold as the incumbent’s contract was renewed.

In 2006, Valentine was appointed as an Independent NDDC (Niger Delta Development Corporation) Ad-hoc Technology Adviser and came up with the structure for a Silicon Valley type initiative in the Niger Delta region to create jobs. His role here catered for proposal packaging/presentation, feasibility studies, brokering the relevant partnerships with ivy league universities, private sector partnerships and alliances to make it all happen, financial plans, proof of concept, ROI analytics etc.

Valentine is an OfficialUniversity mentor to both Griffith & QUT University, guiding the careers of final year, postgraduate,-tech and business studies students, so far, he has mentored 27 individuals in Australia alone since 2013.

In 2021, Valentine wrote a review (for Australian Federal Senator - Paul Scarr) of an Audit Report (No.4 2020-21) published by the Australian Auditor General on the “Establishment and Use of ICT related Procurement Panels and Arrangements”.

Also, in 2023 Valentine got the opportunity to meet with the Shadow Cybersecurity minister and provided to him 4 policy ideas to mitigate the current cybersecurity threat from hostile countries – Click here for more information.
